There were a large quantity of attractions, music programms, fairy storries and christmas shows for the young and the young at heart. In this year the main attraction on the christmas market in Augsburg was the great christmas pyramid, operated by Diebold's. It was decorated with angels, that were created after motives by the artist Hans Holbein.
The design of the market war rearranged, to make the Christmas Pyramid shine even more magnificently.
The city council was very contented with the successful and innovative new concept.
Also the bavarian TV used the stage on the first floor of the pyramid. It was reported about this market about an hour.

Document for most beautiful stand of the market

The Christmas Pyramid was elected most beautiful part of the christmas market in Augsburg. It got the award "Most beautiful sales stand" by the reader of the local newspaper.

Bernhard Winkler, manager of the Marketing GmbH, it is the firm which responsible for the market, said confidently: "The christmas pyramid will be existing again in the next year."

At the christmas market in Heilbronn 2004 the Christmas Pyramid was awarded with a document of special honour for the decoration of the market.

There was also a christmas pyramid
on the Prager Street in Dresden, Germany.
The catering pyramid is from the "Erzgebirge",
an area famous for its wood-carving art.
It is 8.50 metre high and new on the christmas fair.
